Where can I get funding?

Money is not usually the obstacle you might think it is when it comes to learning and training. In fact, there is a wide range of funding sources for school staff enrolling on courses.

For full details of what's available locally, talk to your union learning rep or the member of staff responsible for staff development.

The government is encouraging local authorities to help with funding for school staff without a full Level 2 qualification or equivalent. This could be done through a college course or via the workplace with their employer's agreement.

For more details, talk to your UNISON learning rep or visit the UNISON website.
