Maggie: Higher level teaching assistant

I took the fast-track route to gaining Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status, which has helped me appreciate how much knowledge I’d already gained and allowed me to move on into the position I’m in today.

My story

The fast-track route to gaining Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status involved three full days' training between October 2003 and January 2004 at the local education authority training centre.
